Over the last few months, I have been studying for the Cisco MPLS exam, and it has been a lot of fun. I already had an idea of MPLS from my ISCW study, but going into more depth and seeing how MPLS operates was a good experience. Over the next few days, I will post blogs on what I would call the “high” points for MPLS, along with some configuration documentation and configuration videos. I am going to break it down into the following;
- What is MPLS
- LDP, TDP, LSR, LSP, oh my!
- Basic MPLS Configuration
- Why MPLS VPNs are amazing
- MPLS VPN Configuration
- Why do I need to engineer my MPLS traffic
I hope you enjoy what I will post as much as I enjoyed learning about it.
