I’m back, and It is good to be back! What seemed like only a few weeks turned out to be about a 4’ish year or so absence. I missed blogging, and boy, has a lot happened in that short 4-year absence!
To say I missed doing this blog thing is an understatement. Since my days of blogging on Routed Interface, I have moved up and around this wonderful networking world!
We have left Atlanta and now call St. Augustine, FL home. Coming from this native New Yorker, moving down south was not in our plan. The first was to Atlanta, and you can’t say no to a job offer as Coca-Cola’s Principal Network Architect. There was never any intention to move further down south. Life happens, and well, I now know to expect the unexpected. Life is about adapting to change, and I now see that.
Now, on to the blog! In my 4+ year absence, this old dog learned a few new tricks. The blog focuses on something that is now near and dear to my heart: Network Automation. I will not look at automation from one networking vendor’s point of view. Instead, it will look at automation holistically and introduce people to Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and Ansible, to name a few technologies.
It is great to be back!
